I was in the best place in the world (Enna Chocolate) last week and I overheard two other shoppers talking about what they got for whom for gifts. I said "This is why I have a spreadsheet." They were impressed, and I explained what I do, and that I kind of have a spreadsheet for everything. It's not that impressive.
But I do. I have a spreadsheet so I can remember what I got for whom, what was spent, if it's been wrapped, and (this last one was only added a couple of years ago) where I hid it.
